We find ourselves at the top of the Goldbelt Grade at a time of day when photographers come out

It's that special pre-sunset light that improves so many photographs.

We're up at about 6000 feet now and the views toward Death Valley are unexpectedly good from the Goldbelt Grade. Phil and I borrow each other's cameras to get photos of ourselves taken for our collections.
