Another important photo for any Death Valley travelogue

... one of the moving rocks on The Racetrack.

The rocks apparently move around on the slick surface of the dry lake when it's wet and slippery, leaving their telltale tracks on the playa.

Just as we were arriving at The Racetrack, another car was leaving. We've only passed a couple of cars since leaving the Ubehebe Crater tourist area 25 miles north of here.
